Larisa Laivins creates playful, timeless heirlooms for the next generation. Inspired by the colors of the West, the simplicity of ancient Roman jewelry, and the nostalgia of commemorative pieces like medals and class rings, she juxtaposes a colorful mix of stones with a modern interpretation of classic forms to make some very wearable jewelry.

A Texas native, Larisa grew up encouraged by her architect father to draw and make things. After concentrating on painting and metal sculpture at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas and obtaining a painting degree from Rhode Island School of Design, Larisa moved to New York and fell into the fashion world. She has contributed to many great brands as a knitwear designer - dedicating almost a decade at Ralph Lauren followed by stints at Juicy Couture, Fossil, Uniqlo and Jenni Kayne. After a move to Los Angeles, Larisa took a trip to India with a gem dealer and was inspired to turn her art and design experience to jewelry. Larisa Laivins jewelry is made by hand in Los Angeles by Larisa and a team of skilled craftsmen.
